What do I need to do if I never signed up for prime?
Nothing!
If you choose to sign up for prime in the future, you will need to insert your own SIM card into the SIM slot. From there, you can sign up for prime lite ($16/mo) on https://connect.comma.ai!
What if I want to keep prime?
You will be able to retain prime features on your comma two by signing up with your own SIM card. Simply insert your own SIM card into the SIM slot, and activate $16/mo prime on https://connect.comma.ai. You can cancel your prime anytime before billing automatically ends on April 15, 2022. Please note, cancellations are immediate and no partial refunds will be provided.
What if I am in the middle of my 3-month prime trial?
Don’t worry. You will still get your free trial, and if you would like to keep prime when it ends, please purchase your own SIM card and sign up for prime lite on https://connect.comma.ai
How does this affect warranty replacements?
Warranty replacements will no longer come with comma prime SIM cards. If you have $16 prime on your device, be sure to remove your SIM card before sending your device back to us. Once the replacement arrives, install your SIM in the new device and re-sign up for prime lite ($16/mo). Your previous prime subscription will automatically be canceled on the old device.
What if I have prime lite ($16/mo)?
If you have comma prime with your own SIM card, ($16/mo) you are unaffected.
I don’t like this.
Neither do we! We are forced to do this due to a certain pink mobile phone carrier canceling all unlimited data plans. Change is never fun, but we are focused on continuing to improve the prime and connect experience.
